Question :-

Find Four Rational Numbers between \bold {-\frac{3}{2}\: and\:  \frac{5}{2}}

Solution :-

Let n = 2.

Given,

\bold {-\frac{3}{2}\: and\:  \frac{5}{2}} are the Two Rational Numbers and both are Like Fractions . . .

Multiply the Numerator and Denominator by (n + 1), i.e., 3.

Thus, -\frac{3 \times 3}{2 \times 3} = \bold {- \frac{9}{6}}\: and\: \frac{5 \times 3}{2 \times 3} = \bold {\frac{15}{6}}

Hence, Four Rational Numbers between -\frac{3}{2}\: and\:  \frac{5}{2} are \bold {-\frac{8}{6}, -\frac{7}{6}, -\frac{6}{6}, -\frac{5}{6}} or \bold {-\frac{4}{3}, -\frac{7}{6}, -1, -\frac{5}{6}} . . .

Note that There are Infinite Number of Rational Numbers between any Two Rational Numbers . . .
