Given :  \frac{-5}{12}  and  \frac{-3}{5}

To find : four rational numbers between the given rational number

Solution : In this type of question we first make the denominator same

  • So, first find the LCM of the denominators of given numbers

        LCM of 12 and 5 = 60

  • Now, Make both the denominator 60 by multiplying by 5 and 12 respectively to both numerator and denominator

       \frac{-5}{12} × \frac{5}{5}  and \frac{-3}{5} × \frac{12}{12}

       = \frac{-25}{60} and \frac{-36}{60}

  • Now, choose any four numbers between -25 and -36

       So the required numbers numbers can be :

        \frac{-35}{60},  \frac{-33}{60},  \frac{-31}{60},  \frac{-29}{60}
