btejaswini2003: or you can write the common factors of 704 and 407 respectively and you have to pick up the greatest common factor , for example , in both u have 3 and 11, you would have to take 11 because it is the biggest number which can divide both the numbers. if u still have a doubt or didn't get it , you can leave a comment down below .

the greatest common divisor of 704 &407 is... 11

coz (704 =1*2*2*2*2*2*2*11 & 407=1*11*37)(prime factorisation)
