Given :  Tan θ = - 1/√3

To find : general solution for θ

Solution:

Tan θ = - 1/√3

=> θ = Tan⁻¹ ( - 1/√3)

Principal Range of Tan⁻¹ is  ( -π/2 , π/2)

& Tan(-π/6) =   - 1/√3

=>  θ = -π/6

Generalized Solution θ  = nπ  -π/6
