so we have to use prime factorsiation method

306 =  2 x 3×3 x 17

657 = 3 × 3  × 73

now

 hcf = 3 × 3

          = 9

now,

hcf * lcm = product of 2 numbers

so

9 *lcm = 306*657

lcm =306 *657/9

lcm = 22338
