Given :     9(x-3)(x-2) and 12(x-5)(x-3)

To Find : HCF

Solution:

HCF - Highest common factor

9(x-3)(x-2)

12(x-5)(x-3)

9(x-3)(x-2)

= 3 * 3 (x - 3)(x-2)

12(x-5)(x-3)

= 2 * 2 * 3 (x - 5) ( x - 3)

= 2 * 2 * 3 (x - 3)(x -5)

3(x - 3) is common in both

hence HCF = 3(x-3)

H.C.F of 9(x-3)(x-2) and 12(x-5)(x-3) is 3(x-3)
