(i) HCF = 6, LCM = 44100

(ii) HCF = 10, LCM = 3300

Step-by-step explanation:

(i) The factorization of 882 into prime factors gives 882 = 2 × 3 × 3 × 7 × 7.

And that of 300 into prime factors gives 300 = 2 × 2 × 3 × 5 × 5.

Therefore, the HCF of 882 and 300 will be 2 × 3 = 6 {Because 2 and 3 are the only common factors}

And the LCM of 882 and 300 are 3² × 2² × 5² × 7² = 44100

(ii) The factorization of 150 into prime factors gives 150 = 2 × 3 × 5 × 5.

And that of 300 into prime factors gives 220 = 2 × 2 × 5 × 11.

Therefore, the HCF of 150 and 220 will be 2 × 5 = 10 {Because 2 and 5 are the only common factors}

And the LCM of 150 and 220 are 2² × 3 × 5² × 11 = 3300. (Answer)
