Answer:

24 = 2×2×2×3

60 = 2×2×3×5

150 = 2×3×5×5

here, 2 & 3 are common

therefore HCF = 2 × 3 = 6

LCM = 600

Answer:

HCF= 6 & LCM= 600

Step-by-step explanation:

Prime factorisation,

24 = 2.2.2.3 = (2)^3 × (3)^1

60 = 2.2.3.5 = (2)^2 × (3)^1 ×(5)^1

150 = 10 × 15 = 2×5 ×3×5 = (2)^1 × (3)^1 × (5)^2

HCF = gcd (common with least power)

= (2)^1 × (3)^1

HCF = 2×3 = 6

And again,

LCM (common with greatest powers )

LCM = (2)^3 × (3)^1 × (5)^2

= 8 × 3 × 25

= 24 × 25

= 600

I have tried to give you the most easy way.....
