AnswEr:-

•Euclid's Division Lemma•

→a=bq+r

♦Putting the Values♦

→125=45×2+35

→45=35×1+10

→35=10×3+5

→10=5×2+0

๛Hence,5 is the HCF of 125&45๛

Question :

Find HCF of 125 and 45 using Euclids,

division lemma.

Solution :

We know that :

 \tt{ \purple{ \leadsto{a = bq + r}}} \\  \\  \leadsto \: 145 = 125 \times 1 + 20 \\  \\   \leadsto125 = 20 \times 6 + 5 \\  \\  \leadsto \: 20 = 5 \times 4

Hence

HCF = 5.
