Find HCF of 2048 and 960 & find a and b of HCF=2048a+960b.
Please help me guys.

Find the prime factorization of 2048

2048 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 2

Find the prime factorization of 960

960 = 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 3 × 5

To find the gcf, multiply all the prime factors common to both numbers:

Therefore, GCF = 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 2 × 2

GCF = 64
