Given data: 28, 35, 49

To find: HCF

Solution:

  • HCF is known as the highest common factor.
  • In this we need to find the common multiple factor.
  • Considering the value of 28 = 2 x 2 x 7 is multiple of 28.
  • The multiple of 35 is 5 x 7 and the last number is 49 = 7 x 7 is the multiple of 49.
  • Hence the HCF of given number is 7.
