592=252*2+88
Step-2 , r not equal to 0
252=88*2+76
Step-3 , r not equal to O
88=76*1+12
Step-4, r not equal to 0
76= 12*6+4
Step-5 , r not equal to 0
12=4*3+0
here r =0 , hence HCF of 252 and 592 is 4
