\mathfrak{\large{\underline{\underline{Given:-}}}}

Let a = 867 and b = 255

\mathfrak{\large{\underline{\underline{To find:-}}}}

H. C. F using Euclid division lemma.

\mathfrak{\large{\underline{\underline{Solution:-}}}}

The Euclid division lemma is written as in the form of :-

\boxed{\sf{ a = bq + r}}

where q and r is quoteint and remainder respectively.

\implies \bold{867 = 225 × 3 + 192 }

\implies \bold{225 = 192 × 1 + 33 }

\implies \bold{192 = 33 × 5 + 27}

\implies \bold{33 = 27 × 1 + 6 }

\implies \bold{27 = 6 × 4 + 3}

\implies \bold{6 = 3 × 2 + 0}

at this step the remainder is 0.

hence, H. C. F will be 3 .
