Find he value of 'f' if the mode is 154

given :

frequency of modal class =f

lower class limit(l)=150

size of class interval(c)=10

mode(m)=154

frequency preceding the modal class(fp)=12

frequency succeeding the modal class(fs)=8

Just use this formula remember it:-

m=l+\frac{(f-fp)c}{(2f-fp-fs)}

So 154=150+(f-12)10/(2f-12-8)

=4=(f-12)10/(2f-20)

=8f-80=10f-120

2f=40

f=40/2

=20
