Given equⁿ to us is ,

=> 2^2x + 2 = 4^2x -1

=> 4^2x - 2^2x = 2+1

=> 2^2x = 3

=> log 2^2x = log3

=> 2x log2 = log3

=> 2x(0.301) = 0.477

=>0. 602x = 0.477

=> x = 0.477/0.602.

=> x = 477/602.

Hence the value of x is 477/602.
