HCF of

 \sf\ x^4y^3\ and \ x^2 y\\ \\ \implies\sf\ x^4y^3= x\times x\times x\times x\times y\times y\times y\\ \\ \implies\sf\ x^2y= x\times x\times y\\ \\ \\ \sf\ x^2\ and\ y\ are\ common\ in \ both\\ \\ \\\implies\sf\ \therefore\ HCF= x^2y

X2Y is the answer .
Two x are common and one y is common so x2y is the HCF
