Given;

  • Speed of Car = 45 Km/hr

  • Time taken ,t = 3 hours

To Find:

  • The distance traveled by car = ?

Formula Used:

\\ \bigstar \:  \:  {\underline{\underline { \boxed{ \bf{\purple{speed \: =   \dfrac{distance}{time}}}}}}} \\ \\

where,

  • Speed = 45 Km/hr
  • Time = 3 hrs
  • distance= ? (to be calculated )

Solution:

✰ calculating the distance traveled by car;

\\\sf \dashrightarrow \: speed \: =   \dfrac{Distance}{time}\\ \\

\sf \dashrightarrow \: 45 \: =   \dfrac{Distance}{3}\\ \\

\sf \dashrightarrow \:   Distance = 45× 3\: \\ \\

\sf \dashrightarrow \:   Distance = 135 \: km\: \\ \\

Therefore, the distance travelled by the car is 135 Km.

Answer:

Car will travel 235\ km in 5 hours at speed of 47 \ km /hr .

Step-by-step explanation:

To find : How far car will travel in 5 hours .  Find its speed in m/s .

Given : . A car travels at 47 km/hr.

Solution :

  • As per given data we know that a car travels at 47 km/hr i.e. speed of car is 47 km/hr . We have to find is speed in m/s  and how far car will travel in 5 hours .
  • As we know, 1 (kilometer/hour $)=1000($ meter $) / 3600($ second $)$  which can also be expressed as 1 (kilometer/hour) =\frac{5}{18}$ ( meter/second) which is simplified form.
  • Therefore, to convert we directly multiply given value of speed by the fraction \frac{5}{18}
  • Hence, we get =47\times \frac{5}{18}$ (meter/second)

                                  = 13.05\ m /sec

  • Hence , speed in meter /sec is 13.05 \ m /sec .
  • Now to find distance , we use following formula ,
  • Speed = \frac{Distance }{Time }

         47 = \frac{Distance }{5} \\\\Distance = 47\times 5\\\\ Distance = 235\ km /hr
