x = - 1

f ( - 1 ) = 2 x ( -1 )² - 3 x -1 - 2

= 2 + 3 - 2

{\huge{\sf{\underline{\underline{solution}}}}}

given, x = - 1

put the value of x in the given equation, f(x) =2x{^2}-3x-2

f(-1) =2(-1) {^2}-3(-1) -2

f(x) =2 + 3-2

f(x) =3
