To find :-

  • Find in square meters ?

Solution :-

First we change the dam into meters .

So,

⇒ dam ↠ 16.5 x 10 m

165 m [Since 1 dam/dm (decametre) = 10 m]

As we know that

  • Area of the square ↠ (Side)²

Now , putting the values , we get

⇒ Area of the square ↠ (165 m)²

⇒ Area of the square ↠ 27225 m²

Hence, the area of square in meters is 27225 m²
