Find it by substitution method


x+y=14
x-y=4​

Solution=>

x+y=14.......(1)

x-y=4........(2)

from 1

x=14-y......(3)

Put equation 3rd in equation in 2nd ..

14-y-y=4

14-2y=4

-2y=4-14

-2y=(-10)

y=10/2

y=5

put y=5 in equation 3rd or one(urwish)

in 3

x=14-5

x=9

or if in 1

x+5=14

x=14-5

x=9

So x=9 and y=5
