Step-by-step explanation:

Age of younger son = 7 years

Age of elder son = 3 years more than the age of younger son

= 3 years + 7 years

= 10 years

Ratio of the ages of younger son and elder son is 10 : 7

Let the each of them get Rs x if their age would be 1 years. So younger son will get 7x and elder will get 10 x

Sum of money ( amount ) = Rs 7000

money of younger son + money of elder son = Rs 7000

7x + 10x = 7000

17x = 7000

x = 70000 / 17

Therefore.

younger son will get 7x =7 * 7000 / 17 = Rs 49000 / 17

elder son will get 10x = 70000 / 17
