Hey mate !

Solution ;

AP = 25, 50, 75, 100, ....... , 1000

So Given that,

First term = 25 , Common Difference = 50 - 25 = 25

Last or the Final term ( k th term ) is 1000

To find what is the number of terms ( k ) present in the AP.

We know that,

Aₓ = A + ( x - 1 ) D

Here A is the first term, D is the common difference and Aₓ is the last term.

So substituting in the formula we get,

1000 = 25 + ( x - 1 ) 25

1000 - 25 = 25 ( x - 1)

975 = 25 ( x - 1 )

=> x - 1 = 975 / 25

=> x - 1 = 39

=> x = 39 + 1 = 40

Hence the number of terms present is 40 terms.

So the value of k = 40

Hope my answer helped !

chitraksh21sinpbuey6: thank you so much for your help sir!
