find k if the sum of the quadratic equation x^ - 4kx +k+3 =0 is double their product​

ANSWER

x2−4kx+k+3=0

α+β=4k

αβ=(k+3)

α+β=2αβ

⇒4k=2(k+3)

⇒4k=2k+6

⇒2k=6

⇒k=3.
