Heya mate, Here is ur answer
For any number to be a factor, it gives remainder as 0 .
so,
x-1 = 0
x=1
x^2 -2x +k = 0
Taking x=1
1^2 -2×1 +k = 0
1 -2 + k = 0
-1 +k=0
k= 0+1
k=1 .
