cp = 675

sp = 630

loss = cp - sp

loss = 675 - 630

= 45

loss ℅ = loss ×100/ cp

= 45× 100 / 675

= 4500/6

loss ℅ = 6.666℅

Loss % = 6.66%

Given,

  • Sp = 630
  • Cp = 675

To find ,

  • Loss %

Solution ,

⇒According to the question ,

Sp is less than Cp. So it is a loss

⇒ Loss = Cp - Sp

⇒ 675 - 630 = 45

⇒Now, we have to find loss %

⇒Loss% = (Loss ×100) ÷ Cp

⇒  \frac{(45 \times 100)}{675}

By multiplying 45 and 100

45 × 100 = 4500, we get 4500

By diving 4500 and 675

4500 ÷ 675 = 6.66%

∴ Loss % = 6.66%
