Find LSA and TSA of cuboid length is 8.2 m, breadth is 5.3 m and height is 2.6 m

Solution

Cuboid dimensions

  • Length = 8.2 m
  • Breadth = 5.3 m
  • Height = 2.6

Lateral surface area of cuboid

→ 2(l + b)h

→ 2(8.2 + 5.3)2.6

→ 2 × 13.5 × 2.6

→ 70.2 m²

Hence, Lateral surface area of cuboid is 70.2m²

Total surface area of cuboid

→ 2(lb + bh + lh)

→ 2(8.2*5.3 + 5.3*2.6 + 8.2*2.6)

→ 2(43.46 + 13.78 + 21.32)

→ 78.56 m²

Hence, Total surface area of cuboid is 78.56m²
