Answer:

LSA of cuboid

Breadth =20(b)

Length =25(l)

Height =12(h)

LSA = 2h(l+b)

= 2×12(25+20)

=24×45

=1080

TSA =2(lb+bh+hl)

=2(20×25+20×12+25×12)

=2(500+240 ×300)

=2(1040)

=2080

Volume=l×b×h

=25×20×12

=6000

Answer :-

  • TSA of Cuboid = 1440 cm²
  • LSA of Cuboid = 840 cm²
  • Volume of Cuboid = 3600 cm³

Given :-

  • Dimensions of Cuboid = 20 cm x 15 cm x 12 cm

To Find :-

  • TSA of Cuboid = ?
  • LSA of Cuboid = ?
  • Volume of Cuboid = ?

Explanation :-

As we know,

\boxed { \bf : \longrightarrow TSA \: of \: Cuboid = 2(LB + BH +HL) }}

\boxed { \bf : \longrightarrow LSA \: of \: Cuboid = 2H(L + B) }}

\boxed { \bf : \longrightarrow Volume \: of \: Cuboid = L \times B \times H }}

Now Substituting the values,

\rm : \implies TSA \: of \: Cuboid = 2(LB + BH +HL)

\rm \implies 2[ \: 20(15) + 15(12) + 12(20) \: ] \: cm^2

\rm \implies 2[ \: 300 + 180 + 240 \: ] \: cm^2

\rm \implies 2[720] \: cm^2

\red { \boxed { \bf \implies 1440 \: cm^2 }}

\rm : \implies LSA \: of \: Cuboid = 2H(L + B)

\rm \implies 2(12) \: [ \: 20 +15 \: ] \; cm^2

\rm \implies 24 \: [ \: 35 \: ] \; cm^2

\red { \boxed { \bf \implies 840 \; cm^2 }}

\rm : \implies Volume \: of \: Cuboid = L \times B \times H

\rm \implies 20 \times 15 \times 12 \: cm^3

\red { \boxed { \bf : \implies 3600 \: cm^3 }}

Hence, the TSA, LSA and Volume of the cuboid are 1440 cm², 840 cm² and 3600 cm³ respectively.
