GIVEN:-

 ( { - 3})^{m + 1}  \times ( { - 3})^{7}  = ( { - 3})^{7}

TO FIND :- M = ?

SOLUTION :-

 {x}^{m}  \times  {x}^{n}  =  >  {x}^{m + n}

  ({ - 3})^{m + 1}  \times ( { - 3})^{7}  = ( { - 3})^{7}

( { - 3})^{m + 1 + 5}  = ( { - 3})^{7}

6 + m = 7

m = 7 - 6

m = 1✔︎

✍︎let's us know more :-

  • All of the equations that we've looked at so far have included only numbers, but most equations include a variable.

  • For example, the above question we saw that,-3^m+1 × (-3)⁵ = (-3)⁷ , -3 has variable in it.
