Let the mass of solute be x grams,

Concentration = 35%

Mass of Water = 200 g

Mass of Solution = (200+x) g

∴ 35% = x/(200+x)

= 35/100 = x/(200+x)

= 7/20 = x/(200+x)

= 7(200+x) = 20x

= 1400+7x = 20x

= 1400 = 14x

= 100 g = x

The Mass of Solute is 100 g.

I hope this helps.
