Median Of the Data is 42.

It seems the Mode is Both 35 and 32.

The Mean is 248÷7=35.4
Here the Median is just to find out a middle term of total observations (7) i.e, 4th term,And the most repeated terms are the Mode.

Answer:

Mean = 35.4, median = 35 and mode = 32, 35.

Step-by-step explanation:

  • Mean: The sum of the values of all the observations divided by the total number of observations.
  • Mode: The value of the observation which occurs maximum number of the times.
  • Median: The value of the given data which divides the data exactly into two parts when data is arranged ascending (or descending order).

According to the question,

Consider the given data as follows:

35,\ 32,\ 35,\ 42,\ 38,\ 32,\ 34

Arrange the data in the ascending order.

32,\ 32,\ 34,\ 35,\ 35,\ 38,\ 42

The number of observation in the data is 7.

Mean = \frac{Sum\ of\ all\ the\ observations}{Total\ number\ of\ observations}

         = \frac{32+32+34+35+35+38+42}{7}

         = 248/7

         = 35.4

Thus, the mean is 35.4.

Median = \left(\frac{(Number\ of\ observations) + 1}{2}\right)^{th}term

             = \frac{7+1}{2}

             = 8/2

             = 4th term

Thus, the median is 35.

Mode:

Notice that in the given data the values 35 and 32 are occurring maximum number of times, i.e., occurring 2 times each.

Therefore, the mode is 32 and 35.
