emperical formulae is 3median=mode+2mean

since mean=10.5 and median=9.6

as per formulae 3(9.6)=mode+2(10.5)

i.e 28.8=mode+21

i.e -mode=21-28.8

i.e -mode=-7.8

since there is negative singn in both sides therefore both will be cancelled and mode=7.8
