Here M is for Molarity, W stands for Mass of Solute, M.M is the molar mass of solute, V is for Volume of Solution in ml.

Density of Sulphuric acid is 1.1 g/ml

  • Calculation of mass of sulphuric acid(W),

w/w% = \frac{W of solute }{W of solution} = 10% = \frac{10}{100}

so we get mass of sulphuric acid (w) = 10 g and mass of solution is 100 g.

  • Calculation of Volume of solution(v)  

density of solution = 1.1 g/ml

density = \frac{mass of solution}{volume of solution}

So the volume of solution = \frac{mass  of solution}{density of solution}  = \frac{100}{1.1} = 90.90 ml

and the molar mass of sulphuric acid (H₂SO₄)
