C.P. of article = Rs.x (let)

12000×75100=x×90100

=> x = ○12000×7590

=Rs.10000

Again. profit = Rs.440

Therefore, S.P. = 10000 + 440 = Rs. 10440

Discount = 12000 - 10440 = Rs.1560

If discount = x%, then

12000×x100 = 1560

=> x = 1560×10012000 = 13%

Answer:

6805.5

Step-by-step explanation:

let the m.p be x

According to the question

  • s.p = m.p - discount % of m.p
  • s.p = x - 25x/100
  • s.p = 100x - 25x / 100
  • s.p = 75x / 100
  • x = 4900 × 100/ 75
  • x = 6805.5

Hence ,

the marked price( m.p )is 6805.5
