AnswEr :

  • Selling Price ( SP ) = Rs. 528
  • Discount Percentage = 12%
  • Marked Price ( MP ) = ?

Formula related to SP and MP is :

 \leadsto \large\sf{SP = MP \times  (100 - Discount\%)}

 \leadsto \large\sf{528 = MP \times (100 - 12\%)}

 \leadsto \large\sf{528 = MP \times 88\%}

 \leadsto \large\sf{ \cancel{528} = MP \times  \dfrac{ \cancel{88}}{100} }

 \leadsto \large\sf{ 6 = MP \times  \dfrac{ 1}{100} }

 \leadsto\large \sf{ 6  \times 100= MP}

 \leadsto \large \boxed{\sf{ MP =Rs. \:  600}}

Hence, Marked Price is Rs. 600
