25^-(n+8)=5^(n-1),
5^-2(n+8)=5^(n-1),
same bases,then:
-2n-16=n-1,
-3n=15,
now,
n=-5
hope it helps u

supersonu: Wrong
supersonu: N = 5

Hi,

Here's ur answer:-

 \frac{1}{ 25^{n+8} } =  5^{n-1}

 5^{n-1} .25^{n+8} = 1

 5^{n-1} . 5^{2(n+8)} = 1

Now, we can use formula  a^{b} . a^{c} = a^{b+c}

5^{n-1+2(n+8)} =1

5^{n-1+2n+16} = 1

⇒[tex]5^{3n+15} = 1 [/tex]

5^{3n+15} = 5^{0} (because any number to the power 0 = 1)

⇒3n+15 = 0

⇒3n = -15

⇒n= -5

HOPE IT HELPS (^_^)
