Solution:

Tn = a + (n - 1) d

a = 3
d = 5

= 3 + (n - 1) 5

= 3 + 5n - 5

= 3 - 5 + 5n

= -2 + 5n

-5n = -2

n = 2/5


We have obtained n as a non-integer, whereas n should have been an integer.

This can only mean that is not part of the given AP.
