hello users .......

we have given two equations are

2x - y = 3 .............(1)

and

4x - y = 5 .............(2)

we have to prove that

these lines intersect each other

solution :-

in equation (1)

y = 2x -3

put this value in equation (2) we get ,

 = 4x -(2x -3 ) = 5

=> 2x + 3 = 5

=> 2x = 5-3 = 2

=> x = 1

now put x in (1) we get

= 2 * 1 - y = 3

=> -y = 3-2

=> y = -1

=> these lines are intersecting at point (1,-1)

hence proved

these lines are intersecting
