Area bounded by a curve with x axis is given by
∫ y dx for limits set by x
In this case x=1 is one limit and other limit set by y=3 which for y=x^2 is x=+/- √3,
Area limits are x= -√3 and x=1 as + √3 >1
∫ y dx= ∫ x^2 dx= x^3/3
At x=1…………..I=1/3
At x =-√3……...I=-√3
Evaluating I=1/3- -√3
Area is 1/3+√3= 1.3333+1.7321=3.0654

Answer:
heya
Step-by-step explanation:
integrate 1st
x^3/3
Then put limits of x
3^3/3-1^3/3
9-1/3
26/3
