Since, I live in a village "dharnai".  In the village construction worker are not payed much.

Average minimum wage paid to the construction workers in my area is 250-300 rupees

This is due to many reasons. Such as

• People want fellow villagers to work on lower wages
• Due to increased worker availability, people are forced to work on low wages
• Due to poor financial issues, people are satisfied even working on low wages
