they do get toothache, it’s not from eating meat, I can assure you. Their diet is meat but also bones. They keep their teeth clean by eating bones as well as meat which helps removes bits of raw meat sticking between their teeth. That said, to us, tigers might have the “bad breath” that we wouldn’t put up with.
As tigers age, they do loose their teeth and become unable to hunt in the wild. Then they die, because they can’t feed themselves. This is sad but it is natural.
