We have to find the elevation in boiling point of 2 molal aqueous solution, given elevation constant is 0.56 K g/mol.

Solution : we know, \Delta T_b=K_b m

where \Delta T_b is elevation in boiling point, K_b is elevation constant and m is molality of solution.

Here K_b = 0.56 Kg/mol , m = 2 molal

Now, \Delta T_b = 0.56 × 2 = 1.12 K or °C

Therefore elevation in boiling point of solution is 1.12°C .
