Escape energy:

Answer:

62.72 ×10^{9}  Joule

Explanation:

Given,   mass (m) =1000kg

             escape velocity (v) = 11.2 km/s = 11.2×10^{3} m/s

               Energy required to escape (E) = \frac{1}{2} m v^{2}

                                                     = 1/2 × 1000×11.2×[tex]10^{3} ^{2}[/tex]

                                                      = 500 × 125.44×1000000

                                                         = 62.72 ×10^{9}  Joule
