These kinds of problems although seem easy but still they are very tricky and one cannot give accurate answer at first glance. there are total 41 squares with in this square. First, you have to count all the small squares. Then count the sub small boxes. there are four sub boxes. After that there are another pair of two sub small boxes. thus after calculating all they will make 41 boxes in all.
