Its very simple ….the hibridization is SP …as there is no lone pairs with berillium and the nmbr of bond pair are 2…hence the only hybridization which is possible for it is Sp ….the formula is …nmbr of bond pair +nmbr of lone pair ..and thats it for any sort of molicule just put the nmbr of lone pair and bond pair with the central atom in this simple formula …u will get ur answer …

e.g :Becl2 = nmbr of lone pair+nmbr of bond pair

=0+2=2 HENCE only two hybrid orbital ..one S and one P orbital i-e..SP hybridization..and the structure would be linear..
