To check whether a number gets divisible by 3 or not is to add the digits of the number and check if that sum gets divisible by 3 or not.

For example,

3519.

The sum of the digits is 18(3 + 5 + 1 + 9).

The sum of the digits gets divisible by 3. So the number too gets divisible by 3.
