Abiotic factors are the non living part of the environment.
Examples
Temperature, sunlight, soil, air and natural occurring events such as volcanic erruptions

Biotic factors are living parts of the environment.

As for biotic factors we have plants, animals and microorganisms.

Some of the biotic factors that have diminished with time are some animals and plants.

They include Sigillaria tree and Western Black Rhinoceros.

As for abiotic factors we have some volcanic mountains becoming dormant and thus no more volcanic erruptions

Answer:

Unfavourable abiotic or biotic factors may have dire consequences for a species. There were some biotic and abiotic factors found in the past but they are not existing now because they were unable to evolute according to the changed surroundings.
