 Bio-plastics plastics refer to bio-degradable plastics. Rather than petroleum these are derived from natural substances. However, they are very expensive to be bought. They can be derived from renewable biomass sources, such as vegetable fats and oils, corn starch, or microbiota. The scientists are still trying to make them cheaper by doing experiments continuously.
