The caste system has been plaguing the Indian Society for generations and has let to the persecution of millions of people.
People belonging to lower castes have had to suffer great humiliation and mistreatment at the hands of the so called upper caste.
But modern Indian has gotten rid of the caste system issue to quite an extent, thanks to the contributions by Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, Mahatma Gandhi, Jyoti Ba Phule etc.
