Changes come in the form of both abiotic and biotic factors. Abiotic factors include all non-living items within an ecosystem, such as temperature and rainfall. Biotic factorsare all the living organisms within an ecosystem. Unfavorable abiotic or biotic factors may have dire consequences for a species

The reasons why the biotic and a-biotic factors, which were once available are diminished from the earth are:
- Biotic means living matter including animals and plants. If some animals and plants are extinct, that’s because they didn’t adapt with their surroundings, secondly, they have been consumed by other living creatures such as humans
- A-biotic factors include the non-living matter including soil, water and nutrients etc. Increasing population is one of the reasons they are diminished.
