Answer:

Area of rhombus = 12×d1×d2

To find the length of the diagonal AC.

△OAB, ∠AOB=90∘; OB = 12 cm; AB = 13 cm.

AO2=AB−OB2=132−122=25

AO =25−−√= 5 cm

Therefore, length of one diagonal is 10 cm and the length of another diagonal is 24 cm.

Therefore, Area of Rhombus = 12×d1×d2=12×10×24 = 120 sq. cm.

Area of rhombus = 1\2*d1*d2

To find:

the length of the diagonal AC.

In  triangle OAB , angleAOB=90degree

OB = 12 cm; AB = 13 cm.

AO^2=AB − OB^2

=132−122

=25

AO =root 25

= 5 cm

Therefore, length of one diagonal is 10 cm and the length of another diagonal is 24 cm.

Therefore, Area of Rhombus = 12*d1*d2 = 12×10×24 = 120 sq. cm.
